Decent Hill Publishers, LLC is an independent, full-service, royalty-paying traditional publisher. We provide the highest quality publishing services, modern book and music publishing and distribution, and personal customer service. We are a member of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) as well as the American Society of Composers, Artists, and Publishers (ASCAP). Decent Hill is a member of and is distributed by The Bookmasters Group. We publish books under our three imprints: Decent Hill Press, Felsen Press, and The Lord's Press. We also publish music under our own music label, Decent Hill Music.

We are dedicated to helping new and aspiring authors become published authors. Our full publishing services include formatting your manuscript for printing, working with you to design your cover, getting your book listed in all print industry databases, producing digital versions and eBooks, making your book available in digital retail outlets like Amazon Kindle and Apple's iBookstore and through retail networks like Amazon.com, and in brick and mortar bookstores, fulfilling bulk orders for your title from libraries, booksellers, and school systems etc. We do all the publishing work so you can concentrate on writing the best books you can write. With our Print-on-Demand technology, your book will remain in stock and in print forever. Music
For new, upstart, and independent musicians and bands, we offer seamless production and distribution of your music. We professionally design your album cover art and manufacture your CD and/or DVD, produce all digital versions, include downloadable mp3 files, and make your music and tracks available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon.com, CDBaby, and thousands of other online and retail outlets. We also make your music video available for video-on-demand purchase or rental to both online and cable TV subscribers. Who Can Get Published?
We evaluate manuscript submissions thoroughly and select only those that tell a compelling story or make a convincing argument. Writers of romance novels, mystery/suspense, Christian and inspirational books, poetry, horror, science fiction, and children’s books are encouraged to upload their completed manuscripts for consideration. Only completed, finalized manuscripts will be considered. We strongly encourage you to work with a professional editor to edit and prepare your manuscript before submission to us. Please note that we only accept a small percentage (about 20%) of manuscript submissions; only those that meet our rigorous publication requirements are selected for publication. If your manuscript is accepted for publication, we’ll get in touch with you within 1 week of submission to discuss the next steps forward. Artists who have not signed a recording contract with any music label and who are in possession of a studio-quality master CD/DVD or high quality mp3 files of their music are encouraged to send us their music for evaluation for possible publication and distribution. We accept and publish music from all genres, and we take care of the production of your CD/DVD media and physical / digital distribution of your music so you can concentrate on writing your songs or singing them. We take the pressure off of being a new or independent artist. Artists singing and performing folk music, Christian, country, blues, pop, jazz, R & B, hip hop, rock, or other popular genres are encouraged to apply to get on the Decent Hill Music label.
Royalties
If your work is accepted for publication, Decent Hill will publish and distribute it entirely at our expense. We market and promote all our published works jointly with the author or artist. We pay royalties on all sales from all our worldwide sales and distribution channels and from all formats, both physical and digital. Authors and artists who achieve 10,000 units in sales are paid advances for future releases of new work.
